Good People - Training Programmes
We work closely with employers to promote recruitment and retention solutions that genuinely succeed.
In addition, we run training programmes aimed at individuals wishing to enter work in a range of sectors which include: contact centre, customer service and retail. Modules include:
- Enhancing communication skills
- IT - building confidence with computers
- Working successfully as part of a team
- Building self-confidence and motivation
- ECDL - European Computer Driving Licence. ECDL is designed specifically for those who wish to gain a benchmark qualification in computing to enable them to develop their IT skills and enhance their career prospects.
We are also experienced in supporting candidates to develop their information technology and office skills and can offer accreditation where appropriate.

Michael Sweeney - Director of Good People Services:
We are also accredited for training. We are accredited by the British Computers Society for IT training by Edexcel for customer service training and this means we can prepare candidates for work or up-skill them in their current jobs with local employers.
Nigel Howard - Training Manager:
We do an IT program, which is called the ECDL (European Computer Driving Licence). Normally it's for people who have not got a recognised qualification and they can come along and get one so they can use it towards securing employment.
Lesley Kaufman - Service User:
Nigel who is our teacher has been fantastic. He is humorous, he is not patronising but he is also understanding. A good level of letting us do our own thing, allowing us to express who we are and what we need but also teaching us.

We also do a customer service program which is aimed at people who want to go into the retail sector or into a helpdesk role or a customer service role.
