- Before the interview take a practice run up to the interview place. This will let you know the time it will take to get there as well as make sure that you know how to get there. On the real journey to the interview make sure to arrive 10 minutes early as to avoid being late.

- Make sure you dress appropriately for the job. if you come in totally inappropriately it will show you to be very un-professional and is very unlikely for you to get the job

- Go into the interview having prepared some answers to some commonly ask questions as well as a good understanding of everything on your CV. Anything on your CV is up for discussion so make sure you can talk about anything on it.

- At the end of the interview reiterate that you are very interested in the job and ask what the next step in the process is. This will show you to be an egger and motivated candidate

- Make sure you write a thank you letter after the interview this will refresh the minds of the interviewer(s) and again show you to be an egger and motivated candidate.

Tips on what not to do in a job interview

- Don't smoke, drink coffee or wear strong perfume or cologne before the interview. Wearing strong smells will only distract the interviewer from the reasons why they should hire you.

- Don't answer questions with a simple "yes" or "no." Explain whenever possible. when interviewers ask questions they want you to go into more detail than just a one word response.

- Don't say anything negative about former employers you never know who knows who and you might be insulting a friend of the interviewers also if you a willing to talk about your previous employer they will think you will talk about them negatively too.

- Don't inquire about salary, holidays, bonuses, or other benefits until after you've received an offer. If you do, it can give the impression that you are only interested in the job because of the money and not because you are passionate about the industry.

- Finally do not lie in an interview. This is a real killer as soon as they find out that you have lied you will of lost the job.
