A small thank you letter can make a big difference. Sending a thank you letter can help you to stand out of the huge amount of people who are applying for the same vacancy. It will show you to be a polite person who is passionate about the position and not just sending out your CV to every job vacancy you see. What's more it is not uncommon for a recruiter to be torn between two candidates and so taking the time to say thank you might just make them lean to your side. Here is some advice to make your thank you letter great.
First paragraph
Here you should thank the interviewer for the time they spent interviewing you. You should mention the date of the interview as well as the job title as they might have many positions they are interviewing for.
Second paragraph
Outline here why you are the best candidate for the position and how well you will fit into the company and express your interested in the company and describe why you applied for that position but try not to use the same words you used in your covering letter and interview. This is also the place to say anything you forgot to mention in your interview.

To finish off thank the interviewer for there time again and mention that they should feel free to contact you any time and that you look forward to hearing from them.
