Good People Recruitment and Training Programmes
We work closely with employers to promote recruitment and retention solutions that genuinely succeed. Employing people from a wide range of backgrounds, ages and life experiences can make companies more competitive and help solve recruitment problems. More often than not, it has a positive impact on their customer base too.
We have advised the UK Government's National Employment Panel on training programmes and strategies to engage disadvantaged groups and have worked with a number of local authorities. Sustained employment is a driver for social change and is at the core of all our work. We have developed a solid reputation for assisting lone parents, people with disabilities and other disadvantaged groups to re-enter the workforce and see it as one of our wider social goals. Our approach is led by the demand from employers in response to their labour requirements.
In addition, we run training programmes aimed at individuals wishing to enter work in a range of sectors from contact centre and customer service to retail and healthcare. Modules include:
- Enhancing communication skills
- IT - building confidence with computers
- Positive thinking, encouraging individuals to think about their skills and what they can offer an employer
- Preparation for employment - assessments and interview techniques
- Teaching individuals how to motivate themselves and encourage others
- Working successfully as part of a team
- Building self-confidence and motivation
We are also experienced in supporting candidates to develop their information technology and office skills and can offer accreditation where appropriate.
